As a Special School District (SSD) teacher, you provide individualized instruction and support tailored to the diverse learning abilities of your students, ensuring they reach their full potential. Special education teachers work closely with professionals across various disciplines. Together, you will craft comprehensive and effective learning plans, providing the necessary scaffolding for each student to excel. This collaborative effort involves continuous assessment and monitoring of progress, with the flexibility to adapt and modify plans as needed. The collective dedication of SSD staff extends beyond academics and includes the provision of patience, empathy, and advocacy to every student.

Salary
- $47,750 to $79,217/year based on experience and education
