Special School District (SSD) partners with the 22 districts in St. Louis County and is the 14th largest employer in Missouri. As an SSD purchasing agent, you will manage the purchasing and bidding process and support the District’s purchasing director. With a keen eye on quality and efficiency, you will ensure processes align with District expectations, governmental regulations, and Board policies. Through collaboration with multiple District departments, you will deliver quality customer service that ensures the goods and services needed to achieve our mission are provided responsibly and expeditiously.
Purchasing agents work at our Central Office, 12110 Clayton Road, Town & Country, MO, 63131, Monday through Friday, typically from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Purchasing agents are generously compensated and receive benefits, including insurance, paid time off and holidays, access to staff health clinics, and more.
