Part-Time SNAP Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist with Special School District (SSD), you will help students develop the skills they need to participate more fully in learning, school routines, and everyday activities. Working alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, you will identify barriers to student success and create individualized strategies that foster greater independence, access, and confidence in the educational environment. Through thoughtful assessment, consultation, and therapeutic intervention, you will empower students to build the functional skills that support meaningful progress toward their goals. Your expertise will help create more inclusive learning experiences, ensuring students have the foundation they need to reach their greatest potential.

We are seeking a part-time therapist to serve students parentally placed in private schools, parochial schools, and homeschool programs in St. Louis County through SNAP (Special Non-Public Access Program).

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or clinical doctorate degree in occupational therapy required
  • Experience in pediatrics/school-based occupational therapy preferred

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Missouri Occupational License required

 

Salary 

  • $42/hour

Calendar

  • 10-month school year (August to June), exact dates dependent on assigned location(s)
